Launched in 2016 by Amy and Steph, two sisters with a dream, White Lace and Butterflies now stands as one of the most highly regarded boutiques in the country with many industry awards under its belt.
White Lace and Butterflies is a fashion forward boutique focusing on contemporary bridal style. We proudly hold an unrivalled collection of world renowned designers for the modern bride and our passion in making women feel fabulous is paramount.
Our pretty boutique has been thoughtfully designed to give the most luxurious yet relaxed feel for your bridal appointment. The boutique is a beautifully free flowing space for your guests to enjoy, inside a gorgeous listed building, set in the quintessential ‘chocolate box’ village of Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire.
The boutique boasts a pretty viewing room where you can peruse all of our designer collections and select your gowns for trying. The space flows seamlessly into two large and exclusive bridal rooms where your guests can sit back and relax with a glass of fizz while you try on your gown selection. Our fitting rooms are super spacious and private, with curtains that open to reveal your look to your loved ones before you take centre stage in front of our wonderful floor to ceiling french mirrors.
We have worked hard to curate the perfect selection of designers for the modern bride. Our gowns are expertly handcrafted by sensationally skilled ateliers, using high-quality fabrics and sophisticated processes, leading the way to unforgettable wedding day looks.

The passion for fashion comes from Amy, bridal fashion has been Amy’s passion for many years with the dream always to one-day launch her own bridal shop. Amy is best found in the boutique, doing what she loves the most - meeting all of our brides, helping them find those dream gowns and most importantly, making our brides feel incredible! Amy will quite often say that her job has never felt like work and she is so passionate in what she does. She also has a massive shopping addiction hence you’ll always find the newest trends hanging from our rails in total abundance!
Steph is the cog that keeps the WL&B wheel turning. Steph is often your first point of contact right from the very first booking email, all the way through to sending our heartfelt congratulations post wedding. She is the force that ensures all of our brides dresses arrive on time, every time, she is our office wizard who deals with all things administrative and loves nothing more than meeting you all, throwing in the absolute wild card dress during appointments and has been known to need the tissues too when those “yes” emotions run high.
The very lovely Daisy joined the team in 2023 and is absolutely loving making your bridal dreams come true!
Daisy graduated from university with a fashion degree and adores all things fashion with a particular passion in bridal. Rest assured you are in the best hands ~ our brides just simply adore her, she is unbelievably knowledgeable and calm in her nature, we are beyond thrilled to have her as part of our team.
Our Postcode, HP16 0AN will lead you to the High Street, Great Missenden. There is free parking throughout the High Street although time restrictions do apply. You can find two pay and display carparks on Link Road , situated at the top end of the High Street and less than a five minute walk from the boutique. Great Missenden is 45 minutes north west of London and just a 10 minute drive from Beaconsfield with its motorway links.
