Our Postcode, HP16 0AN will lead you to the High Street, Great Missenden. There is free parking throughout the High Street although time restrictions do apply. You can find two pay and display carparks on Link Road , situated at the top end of the High Street and less than a five minute walk from the boutique. Great Missenden is 45 minutes north west of London and just a 10 minute drive from Beaconsfield with its motorway links.

You will be spoilt for choice for places to eat in the surrounding area.
By foot in the immediate surrounding area you can find Fan Fan Pizzeria, Matilda’s cafe and The Cross Keys pub. Very slightly further afield , approximately 1 mile from the boutique and recommended by car, is the gorgeous Nags Head, a historic country pub with a beautiful outside dining space and ample parking.
If you pop in the car and travel 1 mile in the other direction, you will come across Peterley Manor Farm which showcases the best of The Chilterns local produce in its award-winning barn kitchen.
Great Missenden is a beautiful village to take a little wonder through. The village was home to the great author Roald Dahl with Great Missenden itself being the inspiration in many of his famous stories. The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre is directly opposite the boutique.
HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I BRING TO MY BRIDAL APPOINTMENT?
We limit you to bring a maximum of 3 guests to your appointment. Your bridal space has been designed to accommodate three guests comfortably.
CAN I BRING CHILDREN TO MY BRIDAL APPOINTMENT?
Our boutique is not suitable for children due to some furnishings being unsafe. We have large heavy leaning mirrors and rails filled with pristine white dresses. We also promote our bridal spaces to be a calm and relaxing environment for everyone in the boutique. We do however understand that newborn babies are trickier to leave behind so do welcome babies as long as your guests are able to look after them for the duration of your appointment in the boutique.
WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE IN STORE?
Our designer collections range from approximately £1500-£8000 with everything in between.

ARE ALTERATIONS INCLUDED?
Alterations are not included within the price of your gown.
Upon purchase, you will receive information of our multiple teams of recommended bridal seamstresses and be guided through the process fully.
WHAT IS THE PAYMENT PROCESS?
We ask for a 50% deposit to secure your gown, this deposit secures your time in your chosen designers diary and places your dress on order.
The remaining 50% balance will be due upon collection.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY DRESS ARRIVES?
As soon as your dress arrives in store we will be in touch with the exciting news!
Your gown will be thoroughly quality controlled by us and you will subsequently be invited back into the boutique to try on YOUR beautiful dress as well as any other accessories that you may have in mind. Your balance will be settled at this appointment and you will take your dress home with you along with clear storage instructions whilst you await your alterations process to begin.
WHAT ARE YOUR SAMPLE SIZES?
We pride ourselves on inclusivity - Our store samples range from a UK 10 - UK 26.
Upon booking your bridal appointment you will receive a contact form where you can request sample size information of all of your favourite styles. You are always welcome to email us for more information on specific sizing prior to booking your appointment.
WHEN SHOULD I START BRIDAL SHOPPING?
Ordering your gown 1 year or more ahead of your wedding date allows for a totally stress free shopping experience, with the 10 month mark still being doable.This timeframe allows 6 - 9 months for dress production plus a 12 week period for the alterations process.
CAN I CHANGE MY APPOINTMENT?
If you wish to cancel your bridal appointment and receive a refund of your appointment fee, we please ask that you email hello@whitelaceandbutterflies.co.uk to notify us of your cancellation. We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for a midweek appointment and a minimum of 5 days notice for a Saturday appointment. Any missed appointments or cancelled appointments that have been notified within a shorter timeframe than outlined are non-refundable.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO THE APPOINTMENT?
Just bags of excitement and an open mind, with nude knickers being helpful although not essential. You won’t need a bra for your trying on process and your bridal space is complete with a podium to lift your dress hem from the floor thus eliminating the need to bring heels.
